Hi,
I don't have a great deal of experience as an off road rider. Will this ride be ok?
Not a friendly ride if you new....its not technical....just a long ride and plenty of climbing.
If your not used to 2-3hrs riding time...not for you.
Thanks Shano
Count me in if it's not raining... good training for the fling
I'll be driving from castle hill if anyone wants a lift.
You are definitely the God of Rain. Whenever you post a ride.........
Hopefully the causeway won't be flooded
Hello Volker
Just so I am clear : it is 7:00 am sharp we start riding?
I'll be coming up by train just before 7am. I'll meet you at the Glenbrook station car park. Last time we were on the bikes pretty much 7am.
I am thinking that we will be going up over the little single trail down to Euroka camp site and the Ridge fire trail. So, anybody who comes in late can head straight up the fire trail to the top of the single track and meet us there!
Weather observations show that only little rain has hit Oaks, NP web sites has no closures for the area. BOM forecast is back to Isolated Showers. I think we are good to ride. Anybody local been down to the causeway today?
Cheers,
Volker
Causeway is low, no flow at all. All the trails are dry but the single track puddles are all full.
Sounds good to me.. bright and early though.. argh!
The causeway if fine as Stephen mentioned. Bennetts Ridge is all good too.
And what a beautiful morning it was!
Likewise - a very pleasant way to spend a Sunday! See you all next time
