check out a couple of episodes of sidetracked, the new mtb show. Its on fuel, but if u dont have fox, you can watch them on-line. i cant remeber from the top of my head the site name, but im sure if you google it youll find it..the reason being they just did a couple of big shows on riding in adelaide, it looks awesome, apparently the council is far more behind mtb ing there than they are in nsw, lots of mtb parks, great downhilling etc, big DJ parks with more relaxed regulations on things..yeh that eagle park one was one of them, looked tops!
thanks for that alex, caught a few episodes of sidetracked but didnt write anywhere down,i will just try dropping into one of the local bike stores down there and see how it goes.cheers.
I have heard that Eagle MTB Park in Adelaide is killer. 35 kms of xc trails and some very serious downhill trails. here are the links:

is excellent in general... my god, bike lanes that actually go somewhere, cars that give way.. its amazing.
i recently drove there just so i could take my road bike and do some of next years TDU courses.
And before anyone shoots me - no i didn't take my mtb but i wanted to... apparently forcing your girlfriend to sit in a car for 3000km and taking TWO bikes is a little too much...
If you have your car, then Eagle Mtb Park is very close to the South-eastern corner of the city - just get on the road that goes to Hahndorf - the signs are huge for the MTB park. There's even a bike path following the main road up into the hills if you wanted to ride there... This park is also hosting some competitions soon so it should be in good nick too.
Cheers,
Lance.
thanks for the heads up!! will definitley be taking the bikes, eagle park sounds great cheers guys.
