amazing how many first class tracks we have on our doorstep. just got to string them together.
broke a spoke on 'bunnings' and the left pedal in red hill otherwise sub 6 might have been possible.

nice ride, questionable posting of riding verboten trails though?

deleted the link, and making the segment private.
mind you there isn't a single trail on this loop that hasn't got a strava segment already.
anyway, don't want to cause any problems here as trail advocacy is important and i don't want to undo the good work that has been done recently.

maybe it's best to delete the whole post. can someone do that please?

Thanks for your discretion. These trails are part of ongoing discussion with NPWS. For those who may think that NPWS won't find out about their "secret single track" recent building efforts, and it therefore won't harm the negotiation process, the news is ... helicopters as an invention have been in practical use since the Korean War. Eye-wink Sticking out tongue

There are no secrets.

I remember Gerry in that Skippy episode using his helicopter to find illegal single track, so you are definately right Hawkeye.

...you can pretty much see anything meaningful on google earth or even google maps these days. If you know where to look....

Most of the google stuff is a few years out of date. Nearmap is better but not as comprehensive for many areas. NPWS have spoken us about some trailbuilding activity they have seen from the air.
