noosa rides?
im going to noosa on jan 2nd for 16 days and wondered if anyone has ridden up there before? i know its bloody hot this time of year as ive been up before at the same time. i'll have the new bike and i'll be itching for a ride. if anyone's lurking on the site from up there or know of any good rides i'd be gratefull. ill try the local bike shops and ive looked on a site called noosa trail network but its always nice to have a guided tour or some friendly advice.

Found a club about 30-40km south....best bet may be to contact them to try to organise a ride....failing that contact the tour company or go to the local hire places

Tewantin state forest has a few nice trails, but from what I have seen when I was up there a few months ago, there isn't really too much technical riding. Then again I probably didn't find any of the good tracks. I probably wouldn't bother doing the Mapleton downhill track again, from Pt Glorious, it's a firetrail almost the whole way down. Hope this helps.
