What to do NYE 2012?
Martine and I did this event last year and all i'll say, It was one of the best and most fun events of 2011 and on an awesome 10km loop of switchback singletrack heaven!
Needless to say, We're going back down this year to compete again.

@dicko - I'd be keen but only as a team of 2 just for a fun day (read haven't trained since The Fling). I emailed my brother in Singapore today to see if his house at Thredbo is free as I saw this post from @gazza & thought it might be worth taking family for a few days as we don't have plans over Christmas.
We could maybe hook up for a ride if you have your bike?

I dont want to commit to any racing - even social, I have spent alot of ime away from family this year due to the bike and have a big year planned for next. I don't want to start the year off like this when its supposed to be a family holiday. I was just going to head out and say hello, maybe have a cruise around the course if
I am allowed.
Having said that if you / gazza want to do a ride on the trails around tyrolean village near jindy, or
I was thinking of giving the pinch track ago from thredbo to the barry way i would be keen for a few hours riding.
@gazza - definitely have a bike down there - will take the yeti and maybe give the new thredbo flow trails a go.
I am down there from the 27/12 to 2/1.

I'll know in the next day or so guys. My brother has to check if his house is free. If available we will definitely be there. Riding, drinking ....
Sorry Gaz & Wayne, my accommodation is being rented out over new year so I'll be a no show. Looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer for that beer @dicko...
Enjoy your Christmas & New Year guys.
Can't wait to get out of town for some riding the doesn't require getting up at 4.30am!
Hey Craig, you should've come and done the 8hr with us at Awaba. Plenty of beer drank at the end then, shame Gazza didn't get any
