Come Rain or Shine:
If it's raining, I won't be there.
Ride Database Entry:
Rydal Meeting Point:
The main rd in has been dusty as all get up so in an effort to keep on the good side of the locals it might be best to come in via the showground.
From the highway come into Rydal, cross the train tracks and take a left before the Pub (Showground signposted.)
Go around the top side of the show ground and follow the road around to the left. This will take you around towards the top side of the cemetery. from there a couple of cross rd will bring you back tot he bicentennial trail and thus the car park

Coming from Sydney way Al, turn off the highway on the Rydal/sodwals/tarana/magpie hollow rd at the Servo just before you come into Lithgow. This will take you out and around lake Lyle. Go past the dam, to the top of the next big hill and take right at the intersection. Come in through Rydal, Past the Pub and instead of following the tar round left stay this side of the rail crossing and go straight on the dirt road.
Follow this around and go left at the Y and then around to the left of the cemetery and you'll see the car park and track head.
Otherwise just park at the Show Ground and follow the fence around to the right until you see the track dropping down right, over the jump and into single trail.
If the family can get over the summer flu they have and I no longer have to look after them I will head on out for this.
Got to love a mental mud map.
your in charge of directions I think I'll be at yours by about 7ish ?? is that too late ?
I have the official pass out for the ride, but I am either at the start of a bad flu or at the end of a light flu. Have to see how I feel tomorrow evening.
Yes 7 good Al
Unless I wake up in the morning and suddenly feel fine consider me out for tomorrow. Still got a fever and all.
