Rides around Batemans Bay, Mogo etc
I'm heading down to Rosedale, just south of Batemans Bay. Anyone got any suggestions on rides in the area or where I can find out info.
Ta, Nick

South Coast United Mountainbikers -
I think their site may be in the process of being updated... FNSW have advised them to remove their trail maps... legal reasonsAROC's MTB Enduro - nice video of some of the course
Mogo State Forest, enter at Maulbrooks Road, just south of Mogo (RHS of the highway as you're driving down). There are a few tracks in there, have only ridden there once during an AR race so my recollection of it is somewhat hazy...
Apparently there is also a technical ride next to Mitchells Road (on the LHS of Princes Highway, take Dog Trap Road before you enter Mogo)...
Not sure of the state of the track so be cautious.
Hi Nick,
I recently spent about 2 hours trying to find the starting area of the singletrack that starts the Angry Doctor 100km at Mogo. After much toing and froing, asking Q's, I eventually found it (then ran out of time to actually ride it!)
As you drive through Mogo, turn left just past the fudge shop. Continue for about 3-4 kms (past the Zoo), and eventually you will see a power pole on your left next to the road on top of a rise. Turn off here and start exploring. if you get to the gold course, you've gone too far.
You should still be able to get the interactive map from the website.
Bermagui MTB park is good fun. I rode there about 8 weeks ago. Its crammed into a pretty small area but has about 8kms of nice singletrack. It also has a couple of harder lines to take (shown on the map as you enter the park).
To find it, head down the H'way, turn off at the Bermagui sign, then drive for around 6-7 kms (ish) until you see a sign on your left. The sign looks like a normal NPWS sign but says Mountain Bike Park. Just follow your nose then park up. The trail is easy to follow and after 3 laps you'll know where the fun parts are and where to let the brakes off.
There is also a lot of moto trails on Deua NP but take lots of water, a map, compass and preferably a GPS (I know from experience that last bit could be VERY useful).
Oh and Hi to all (my first post)
Cheers

Yeah, the Angry Doctor is mentioned here - that track rocked so check these profiles.

From what was said, the second half of the 100 was tougher but more fun, if that's possible - I loved the 50 I did!
