Only 3 weeks left to the Mont 24 Race....
Time to practice your night riding skills @ Terrey Hills, Perimeter + Long Trail
Quick pace. Go 2 laps for the extra distance of this year's longer Mont laps. 2 groups - a) quick and b) very quick.
This ride starts at 7:00pm at the Japanese School Roundabout (end of Echunga road), to avoid the muddy bits. If you're quick you may get back in time to get schnitzeling at the Tavern. If you're slower, we take your orders and keep a meal warm for you.
The more the merrier.

I have recently added lights to the vast collection of MTB parts i have and i am keen to use them, could also be a starter in the Mont so probably a good idea to try it out. I will not be part of the very quick group as I have only done 115km total this year

..will try to get there if I'm not working in the CBD Wednesday and the weather stays favourable.....
If no rain this week, then all should be ok out there.
I'll try and make it by 7pm, but if I'm not there don't wait. I'll do my best to either a) Catch up, or b) meet you on the return trip of lap 1!
... not sure about the group classifications though. Will probably be in the slower of the two if I can keep up

... got there late due to work and then flatted while "sprinting" out along the Long Track to try to catch up. Thanks to Hans for staying with us while I replaced the tube. And thanks to Black Flash for lining up the schnitzels for us.....
Plenty of running and standing water on both Perimeter and Long. Give it a couple of days yet if you don't want a good coating of grinding paste on your bike!
