Hi there.
Jenny is selling one of her race bikes from 2012 (from when she raced with Rockstar).
This is a Small Giant XTC hardtail. It has been completely upgraded, and also serviced and maintained without regard for cost.

The bike features a full XTR groupset (excluding pedals), which works flawlessly, and recently had brand new pads and rotors.
There bars and stem are 'Pro' - extralight component arm of Shimano. Saddle is a Fizik Tundra (barely ridden) and the seatpost is the very light Giant branded version.

The bike can supplied in various guises with regard to wheels.
As it is pictured, with Stans Race Gold wheels (the lightest 29er wheelset available) the price is $2500.
There is also a pair of the stock Giant wheels (lets be honest, not the lightest 29er wheelset available, but excellent 'everyday / training' wheels). The bike can be provided with those for $2250

Or - the 'primo' option would be to go for the both wheels (with cassettes and tyres - to be chosen from a few options) for $2750

This is proven to be one of the fastest bikes for marathon racing. Jenny raced it and loved it - to great effect. Its extremely light with the right wheels and tyres - it has been at just under 9kg.
If you are looking at buying a 29er for marathons or XC - this is an incredible bargain. Full XTR, full carbon frame, lightest wheels possible.

As a disclaimer - the bike has been ridden before. It does has the usual scratches on it. There is one scratch on the top tube (in a picture) which was caused by a cleat of a shoe catching it as a leg was being swung over. Its purely cosmetic. None of the scratches are structural or of any concern - if they were - a new frame would have been provided by Giant. You can rest assured that the bike is 'sound'.

If you have any questions, please get in touch. At this price, I dont think it will be around for long.
Did I mention that it has won a few races before? Eye-wink

Can't see this one lasting long?

I have the same bike but with lower spec components - just over 10kg. I can confirm this thing is fast and fun!

.... bit small for me, but how long is that seat post??

Seatpost - just long enough. Ride as small a frame as possible!
Yes, this is a bargain. In case anyone wants a 'heads up', there are a couple more coming this or next week (once I have gotten around to taking photos)....2x roadies....
1x Giant Carbon Roadie - small, full DuraAce, with optional Shimano C35 wheels
1x Specialized S-Works SL3, 58cm (my size), full DuraAce, Shimano C24's, optional Zipp 404's. $2500 (without 404's!)

Bargains everywhere!

Both roadies gone (Spec and Giant).

Still the XTC remains. Does no-one want this bike? It really surprises me, as its perfect for marathons, is ridiculously cheap, and is in great condition. Get in touch if you are even considering it. Test rides are available, as are a number of bar, stem options, pedals, tyres and wheels - its all pretty fluid - we can make it work for you....
