I think I’m gunna do it, has anyone done it/ seen it. I’ll strip all the parts off and get a professional to do it. Looking at my line of bikes and cracked frames after some time they look like crap. Stone chips, scratches etc, and yeah I know it gives them character but doesn’t do a lot for re-sale (not the cracked frames). Just got a new bike, well 2012 model owned by old lady, only ridden to church on Sundays. It looks so shinny, sweet and innocent and I’m about to grab it by the throat and ring its neck. There is a product available specifically for stone protection which is kinda rubberised. I’m also considering a colour change at the same time. Don’t particularly like the bumble bee colour tones. Any thoughts

I've put frameskins on my last 2 MTB's.

The 1st set didn't go so well. I didn't have a heat gun, and the rear triangle just didn't fit properly. The main areas were well protected tho.

2nd bike, I used a heat gun and things went much better, but the inevitable still happens and corners start lifting on the tighter curves.

Still worth it if you spend a bunch on a bike.
