Rode James Estate trails on Friday. http://jamesestatewines.com.au/#34
What a great spot, very picturesque valley bordering Wollemi National Park. This is location of Round 2 of the Rocky Trails Shimano Series.
Rode all the tracks including the newer tracks that will make up the race.(Some not shown in the video clip).

Greame AKA "Jimmy Jack" has done a great job of incorporating the trails into the natural bush. Tracks range from flowy single track, to more advance log and rock rolls. There is something here to keep all level of mountain bikers happy. Talk about happy, he also makes some good wines to keep the wifes and girlfriends happy. Tracks are new at the moment and have a loose pea/sandy type surface, but once a few hundred riders have bedded them in on race day they should be fast.
The staff are very friendly, spoke with Greame about the race, and approx 5km of flowy single track and 4.5 km of smooth fast dirt roads through the winery.
Should be a great location for the race, good to see abit more varity to the everyday race locations.
So if you are up in the Upper Hunter go and check out the wines and trails. Also a good lookout walk as well.

Thanks for putting the video up here! Hope you don't mind if we share it around a bit. Lots of people asking what the trails are like.
