It has been a while since I have logged on here and I am glad there is now a Warners bay Ride section.
This is my local ride. Just a few minutes from my front door I enter the area from The bottom of EK Ave/Waratah Ave. Take the tunnel under Charlestown bypass and you end up beside Charlestown Gold Course.
The area has a mix of fire trail and single track. It can be rough and rutted in areas with some traffic from 4x4's and motor bikes. Ground varies with sandy gravel, rocky trails and is quite muddy after some rain.
It is a good 10 km circumference ride with lots of tracks dispersed throughout the centre. Also good downhills and challenging hill climbs depending upon your approach.
The attached map shows the basic outline/circumference ride. I will map out a few more areas and upload them as time allows.

Great stuff, I ride there fairly regularly as well access either same as you or Hillsborough Rd as I come in from Cardiff way.

I have mapped a lot of the stuff already:

Along with some photos:

Mapping isn't complete but covers most of it.

Unfortunately some of the tight single track that was really nice on the western edge has just been ripped up in parts by motor bikes leaving huge mud puddles at some of the tight turns. Main fire trail has just been re-graded and re-gravelled meaning it is like riding on sand in parts the gravel is so thick.

I just uploaded the EK entrance option onto youtube for testing of my new video sunglasses as well.
