Does anybody know of a good yoga class on the Northern beaches which is cycling focussed?
Or a good yoga dvd for bikers?

Cheers

Pilates for Cyclists and Runners is a reasonable DVD that will address the same issues you are seeking to resolve, based on sound knowledge of anatomy.

My wife is a yoga teacher who does one on one or small group (2 or 3 people) sessions. She tailors the workout to the individuals based on their goals and their abilities. There's obviously a cost impact on having private lessons but there are huge benefits in having close supervision.

I wouldn't recommend dvds for anyone who isn't reasonably experienced as slight differences in body position and focus can make a big difference to the effectiveness and safety of an exercise. If you don't have much yoga experience look for a beginners course with a small class (maybe less than 10 people) as this will ensure that you start with the basics and get enough attention rather than jumping in with people who have more experience. Several places offer this so you should be able to find one close to you. If you are in Manly Qi Yoga on the Corso or Manly Yoga on Pittwater Road are good.

If you are interested in a private lesson to get started send me a pm and I'll get Sally to call you.
