My old tyres, Front: Kenda nevegal, rear: maxxis ikon 3c exo (both stans tubeless), were getting a bit low, so went to replace them, and found this on the ikon, in three places. Lucky find, more than likely this would have blown out in the middle of Andersons somewhere.

Hey Mick, good to see you've moved in now.

ChopStiR had the same problem last year with the Nevegals. Some says it's the Stans.

See you on a ride soon.

Thanks Chuck.

This one was the Ikon, its lasted quite a few races including a flow roller coaster, as well as plenty of rockgardens. Was surprised to see the tread delaminating before it was worn out or the sidewall gave out. Would stil recommend this tyre.

Mick.

This is from January, I popped the bubble and have kept riding it

111.8km over 5 activities later

this is from the weekend when it bubbled again and kept inflating before my eyes until it popped with a loud bang. Thankfully I was at Old Mans Valley and the bike store was 5mins up the road. Although it took me much longer to find it.
