Connect with local for first rides on trails

Hi there.

I'm wondering if there's anyone with experience of the trails up this way—e.g. Andersons, Yarramundi etc.—that might be up for taking on a buddy?

I've ridden the Oaks (Woodford–Glenbrook), Govett's leap (Blackheath), Wombat (VIC) and a firetrail up at Hornsby—so I'd describe myself I'm an beginner–intermediate rider (still struggle on the hills though...). But I've come unstuck with wrong turns etc. a bit too often for my liking (doubling the length of my first attempt at Andersons by ending up at McMahon's lookout, for example) and would really love some guidance and advice from someone with a bit more experience.

I'm based out of Katoomba, and I would be looking to do a pretty regular (once a week on a weekend) ride. Anyone up for that?

Thanks in advance.

Regards, Grant
