Winter gloves
It's finally getting cold in Sydney. Can anyone suggest some good winter gloves?

Very comfortable and warm.
I have a pair of these. Wore them this morning at 5.30 and commuting home in the rain tonight. Hands were warm the whole time.
Got the full finger version warm enough on early mornings 04:00 starts in Perth
For commuting, I've ended up (by accident) with a slightly different approach. I wear normal full finger gloves (currently Specialized) and wear damart thermolactyl gloves as an inner glove. This way I wear both in the morning ride to work, and depending on how cool the evening is, wear just the cycling gloves or both.
I ended up with this as I happened to have some damart gloves and accidentally bought some one size too large cycling gloves a few years ago. I've maintained the idea and recently bought another pair of the damart gloves (great thermal gloves) off their website. The only downside is that I now get a regular newsletter full of womens's thermal underwear
For MTB, I don't usually bother with the inner gloves except for night rides in winter.
Try surgical gloves underneath your normal gloves. Keeps your hands dry to. Get the latex ones with powder within them
Dura flex gloves. They are the bomb. Probably no good for mtbing though.
.....toughen up you soft, precious Kiwi!!
I actually use mechanics gloves when riding. A pair of Bluepoint/Snap On gloves.
They are very soft and have some protection built into the top of them around the knuckles. They are leather and do soak up your sweat but i find them really comfortable and warm.
