3 hours for the front wheel! the rear tomorrow and I will finally be able to see if 1.5" makes any difference.

Hi
I'm getting to grips with my conversion at the moment & found the selection of rubber available still quite limited. What fork are you running & which tyres are you going with?

I ended up going for a Rocket Ron 2.25 up front as it was available in 27.7 x 2.25 whereas the Nic is 2.35 & clearance on the Fox 26er fork is already tight. Having ridden it a few times I've found it sketchy & no where near as good as the Nobby Nic, especially on pea gravel.

I know that more options are on the way so in the meantime I'll ride within the constraints of the technology.
Btw, the bigger wheels are imho definitely faster & a bit more comfortable.

I went with the Schwalbe Hans Dampf 2.25. For the fork, I have a Rockshox revelation RCT3/27.5 so clearance is spot on. First test on Saturday...

Ah, so you've also got a specific 27.5 fork, that makes things a lot easier/safer & the HD should work well with the Revelation as both are erring on the free ride side.
One more question though, Is the frame designed for a 26 or 27.5?

I am the lucky owner of a Liteville 301 which is built to work with both wheel sizes (and even 29" from the L size and up). Great option for indecisive people like me.
