Details:

The SRAM Singletrack Mind Series features five mountain bike endurance events, of 7 or 8 hours duration. They will take you to five different locations in NSW, each one renowned for its flowing singletrack and fun factor.

Awaba MTB Park in the Lower Hunter Valley is a perennial favourite and, as we found last year, pretty tough when the heat is on! It's been the scene for the Series final over the past 2 years but in 2013 we're putting it slap bang in the middle of the Series!

This is the new date for the race that was to be held on 23 June, and postponed due to bad weather.

Who's in?
Heckler, Fi, Damien, Ian_A, pommyracer, pharmaboy, newby, skipper_nz, PeterPan (9 riders)

Let's all pray for a little rain... Awaba is very dry & dusty at the moment. There is zero hero dirt, and it's all slippery scree.

I foresee many crashes in the opening lap if the weather stays dry.

I rode Awaba on Sunday for the first time and thought it was pretty grippy, only a couple of high speed (45kmph+ slides) which was mainly due to fatigue/complacency. Awesome fun!
