Based on the standing water still evident on the nature strips around Allambie streets, I don't see that changing overnight. Sorry.
Edit: Oops! Wrong dam LOL!
My bad - I'll change the name of the ride to include "Woodford"!
Thanks for the heads up on Manly Dam - bit too far for me to do a night ride anyway.....
I'm in!!
It's not wet, a couple little puddly bit's on the decent but they are always wettish.
Oops, yeah 4k of single track is very dry.
Thanks for the reconnaissance mission Mr Brown.
See you there.
On train that gets in at 18:31 (hopefully)
Still a few more weeks before I hit the dirt.
Put me down for next week.
Train late in, guess you guys had gone, It was then nearly an hour before the next train back down the mountains so popped down railway parade and then did the Oaks and got back before the next train... Nice stars and nobody about!
Sorry Pete, we hung around till I think 6:45 before heading off. We noticed that no train had come in but we weren't sure.
Might do the same ride next week.
Apologies for that, at least it was an awesome night to head down the Oaks.
I'll be in next week. I'm at the arse end of a case of the black lung, so I should be good by the weekend.
Next week as well time to get back on the bike.
