I have not been there yet but from the photo's I have seen lately it looks the goods other than the near vertical rock garden where even the racers crash think Ill be climbing down that section.
Thinking of the weekend of the 9th of Feb. weather permitting should be a good warm up for Thredbo on the 16th which I havn't posted up yet.
So if enough interest is shown buy the usual perpertrator's (especially the one with the blue ute ! LOL p.m. me) thats if they are not to busy practicing nappy folding LOL

I'm folding up a man nappy for you to wear in case you shit yourself while you watch me nail that rock garden!
...the blue ute will be there on the 9th, maybe a bbq too.

dont think your cannon will hold up on that trail though matey, too many pebbles and twigs to snap your frame on, youll definantly need the man nappy for when that happens 
also, apparently the rock garden has been worked on to make it safer as me ol mate air-lift alerted them to it being a trifle un-safe..well see though
or is it nappy rash ?? thought that would grab your attention . Ok" dad's to be" lets make it a date BBQ- DH gear-Santa Cruz-Trek's -huggies-oh yeah and my new Cannondale tricycle , and if I get really scared I no you guys have lots of practice changing soiled under garments .
We will talk closer to the event maybe some car pooling will be in order , what about you Lee Ill bring some warm milk and some teething rusk's to keep the other guys busy while we bomb some runs. LOL
The rock garden has had its exit re-enforced. The links below are some pics of the mechy rock wall thingy that stops people (and the hill) from going the wrong way!

was that the main prob was it? that people were flying off and falling down mc cliff cause nothing to stop them?
The original problem with the rock garden was once you got off line, you stayed off line.
We widened the exit with large mesh cages filed with rock. There are three of them in there, but the one squid posted is the obvious one.
Luckily though, no one had to be airlifted from that section.
Looks like i'm out for Awaba DH fun due to friday and saturday celebrations...Next time hopefully. Really keen on checking out all the good work thats being done up there.
Fingers crossed the weather improves for you guys too (not looking good).
