Price:
1,200.00

It’s time to say goodbye to a loved companion. I have been riding a Trek Fuel EX for nearly 6 years and I without a doubt say it has been my most enjoyable bike to date. I have ridden an EX on aggressive trails, even downhill runs, used it for racing on fast flowy XC trails, it’s been used from time to time on fire road training sessions and I’ve also used for endurance or marathon racing. And it has been a great performer for all these disciplines. I’m now fortunate that I have a couple of bikes that I use for training and different types of racing, and the EX has been sat in the garage for a few months now, so we are going to have to go our separate ways!

The frame is a warranty replacement frame and the actual frame is a 2011 model. It has been ridden for no more than 30 hours and it is in excellent condition. Please see further bike details below.

Frame: Sizes 17.5" Medium. Alpha Platinum Aluminum w/ABP Convert, Full Floater, E2 tapered head tube, press fit BB30 magnesium EVO Link, replaceable derailleur hanger, 120mm travel

Rear Shock: DRCV rear shock w/3-position ProPedal

Fork: Fox Float RC 120mm travel with remote lock out (Please note remote leaver is damaged but is still useable – I can send an image if requested)

Shifters: Shimano XT 9 Speed

Front derailleur: Shimano LX

Rear derailleur: Shimano XT 9 speed

Crank set: Shimano XT triple chain set (Please note this crank set was replaced with warranty frame and has also be used for no longer than 30 hours)

Cassette: Sram Red PG990 9 speed cassette 11-34

Brake set: Avid Ultimate with Hope 180mm rotors

Wheels: Hope pro 3 Hub with integrated 180mm brake rotor, Stan’s No Tubes Crest 355 rims

Handlebars: Crank Brothers Calbolt carbon riser with 5 degree upsweep and 6 degree back sweep, 980mm wide 15mm rise.

Please note: I have another lower spec wheel set, brake set and handlebars that I would fit to the bike to reduce the price, but it would not bring the price down that much as the value of this sale is in the nearly new frame, shock and crank set.

$1,200 as per description and images.

PM me for further details

Thanks

Chris

Lol, such a crucial fact when looking to buy a bike, yet so often forgotten

Isn't it obvious from the picture!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jpack's picture

Not at all obvious from the picture.
Take a photo of a small, medium or large bike separately and you would have no idea what size it is.
They all have pretty similar proportions and different sizes only differ by a few centimetres here and there
