Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about single track in the lane cove area? I heard there was a bit up near the M2, close to the tunnel that leads under the M2.
I just heard it from a friend, but upon a bit of research there doesnt seem to be much single track out there (legal single track that is).

If anyone knows about any, feel free to tell me! Smiling

When I lived in Lane Cove I used to ride a section from Cnr of Riverview Road and Warraroon Road down to Tambourine Bay.

Also a single from the Reserve at Murray Street, over Centenial Ave then along a bit further.

Good at the time but nothing compared to Manly Dam, S'nives sniggle, Bunnings, Cascades single, etc

Bit of single track from just near Belinda close entrance that leads up and under the M2, near the M2 Tunnel.
There is also a bit of single track up Terry's creek from the M2 heading towards Eastwood. Please note that the single track from the sealed cycle path at Browns water hole up to the M2. Is walking track only. You can ride up the sealed cycle way to Vimera Road, turn right at the roundabout at Waterloo road, follow this round to the left at the bottom of the hill on the right is a track leading in, turn left before going under the M2

Hey danielschipper, where is "S'nives sniggle"? Do you have maybe a strava link?

enter at the st ives showground (behind the boundary fence - behind the dog training section) and ride along mona vale road for maybe 3-4k's then repeat several times Smiling lots of fun.

This is the entire single trail end-to-end. Ignore the Mona Vale Road crossing... It's where I work.

I live in Epping and have ridden much of LCNP, so am relatively familiar with it. Unfortunately, there is almost no sniggle anywhere that is legal. Yes there are the odd downhill trail here or there, or some rougher walking trails to use, but I was not aware of any sniggle. I myself do use some of the walking tracks from time to time to liven up my otherwise boring rides there. But hey, you can't argue when the ride is 200m from your home.
