I'll be heading down to Hobart for 3 days in the coming weeks. Does anyone have recommendations on good quality tracks around the area. Great single track, with technical stuff, AM stuff etc. don't want to waste time in heading to something that isn't that good. Have heard that North South track is pretty good, so will prob ride that at some point.

If you're on the FB page for MRORCA (Margaret River WA) JD rode the N-S recently, maybe hit him up for info. From memory he said it was good but info was a bit thin on the ground.

Four of us went to tassie late last year for a riding trip. North-south track def the best option in tassie, and one of the best tracks i've ridden in my time, up there with favs of NZ. It is a steady climb one way and sweet descending bliss the other, fantastic track. Mostly blue i'd say with consistent black ttfs with chicken lines. Some very fast runs with exposed edges which will have you blowing a fun gland. 6inch trail bike best option. We rode it 4 times in the end, would have more if we had any legs left. Worth a torture climb to the summit of mt wellington too, we missed this, but the descent (road) would be mental. There is a network of tracks off wells too, steep terrain tho off-track. Shuttling would be freakin awesome on NS track, but a good 50mins drive one way...through CBD....need a patient shuttle driver!

Thanks for the info guys!
