I heard a story that @antsonline got on the podium. While that's not surprising it seems this was his first masters (40+) podium. Makes me kind of happy that I am usually in the older and slower category.

Yes we did. Not much of a contribution from me though. The rest of the team deserve the credit and prevailed in what was a very close race for the entire 25 hours. I know we dropped back to 5th at least a couple of times however consistent riding from the guys got them there when it counted.
It was great to see you move up placings. Very exciting!
As for Ants, you can stay where you are and wait till you're old enough to be racing against me thanks!

Yea we suffered Mechanicals. My partners Derailour ripping off clean on the ascent of the red lap. By the time this news trickeled down to me was like 1 hr & 40 min later.....Dammit. Lost 2 laps plus a bit.
We were 19th at that stage & managed to work our way up to 13th. Very happy. We ran in the 7+6 pair's
How good were both tracks this time.
Yea baby.
But I'm once more at that stage.....never going to do another race.....ever. So stiff today. LOL
