That spec list...you poor bugger. My deepest sympathy. My blood runs cold just thinking about it. Eyes peeled and hope to hear some good news about this in the future.

I think that always helps.

Any distinguishing marks on the frame?

... so sorry to hear this, I saw your bike when I picked up the wheels you sold me,
I hope someone will/can help you! I feel for you,
Bernd

the frame is pretty much unmarked but it is a old model frame with the yeti badge on the front a sticker not the metal one that they use now, also with faster written three times down the top of main frame leading to the dogbone which i havent seen on another yeti.sadly no recent pictures as i just got it back from getting new forks and rear shock.

might be an idea to keep an eye out on ebay for the individual parts. Look for 'other items from this seller' if you're suss. Would be hard to get rid of as a whole bike. Just a thought. Best of luck.

I had a very close friend happen to him.
His bike was stolen and was in bits the next day and selling on ebay for a buy it now price for a small amount of cash. They found out it was some rich kid that had a little racket going on with some other kids. There were also laptops and other bike bits that where found in his parents garage, and his parents did not even think anything was going on.
I know my friend had to spend a lot of time with investigating on the net and ebay had to be told by the police, but he managed to get his bike back and made a bit from his insurance.
Just list all the bits and see what the Nobmob gand could find. It's a bit like the Red Hand Gang if you can remember them.
Good luck

Thats terrible news. Such a beautiful sounding bike. Being fairly boutique/rare means it will stick out quite a bit if trying to be sold, so i will keep my eyes out online and around the place.

Have you posted a thread in the 'Stolen' section on the Farkin forums (http://forums.farkin.net)? Are you a member there? I can post one on there if you wish as there are many many eyes through the Farkin community, and sometimes things pop up.

Anyway best of luck with finding your Yeti. Sad

Shitty news, you must be devastated, I know I would be.

Don't forget the other stolen bicycle sites to post a message just in case;

National Bike Register - www.nbr.com.au
Australian Bike Register - www.ausbikereg.com.au

Also tell all the local Yeti dealers

Hi Brian. No worries, I can post a thread in the 'stolen' section on Farkin by using your info you've provided here, tho a pic of any sort (regardless of if its an older spec) will really help, or a thorough spec list.

Cheers,
