POV Videos of tracks

Hi forum,
Just wondering if anyone has a link to a point of view or video of someone else riding the technical downhill trail in cascades?
On a more general note, is there a list of good youtube vids of ie manly dam and other trails around NSW that is worth watching? If not, perhaps this thread could start a list of good vids. I want to see how the pro's handle the tracks I ride and see how I can improve.
Cheers,
Kris

Hey biker23 thanks for the quick reply, and what an excellent resource. However the track I'm after doesn't appear to be there , unfortunately it doesn't have a name , but it joins heath track at the bottom near the power lines tower. Perhaps I can't find it !

That might be because the end of the trail is on NPWS land and is unauthorized. At one stage there was a camera strung on a wire to catch users.

Might explain why there are no vids.

If you turn right at the end of the technical descent isn't it all good? As there's a pylon with a short fire trail back to the main firetrail descent.

You note that top of that off the side of that fire trail it's riddled with tracks as isn't National Park until much further down.

Haven't been down that particular trail myself, I just remember this trail was a hot topic when the brouhaha blew up with NPWS shutting us out a couple of years ago. If there's an alternate exit then all good.

A majority of this singletrack is likely to be lost when this area gets developed, for which I believe a DA has been granted. Not sure but I think it might be the MLALC or a related entity.

Hmm I had no idea , I've been riding down it lately and wondered why I never saw anyone! Plenty of bike tire marks on it though. What is npws land and is that area going to be developed? Never saw a camera on a wire- looked like normal public track. Pretty easy to go down as it seems like the dominant track veering left from the short little loop track to the right. Wish there was a video because it was a challenging ride for me and I want to see it done properly!

That was awhile back. It didn't last long. Someone probably dosed it with WD40 and set it alight with a ciggy lighter (bogan flamethrower).

It was a molten blob when I saw it.

Might have to go look at that track now Smiling

Yeah was a tough ride , but looked well ridden. No trees in the way etc. Some challenging rock drops and steep sections. Was off the bike a fair bit the first time. If you go can u record it please!
