Sorry all.

I just realised I have a BBQ to attend in the afternoon. I have changed it to 8:30am.

Sorry for the confusion. Hope you can still make it Bernd.

lozza6's picture

What is happening with Fri night drinks then buck? SHEEESH!!!

Rob's picture

Eye-wink

Rob... who would come out after beers the night before feeling like cr@p, before discovering he was allergic to the stuff so now just don't bother... well, aside from very special occasions! Eye-wink

Oh - for the record, would love to join you on this, but probably wouldn't be sensible. That Galston ride is the only 12Km I rode in 6 weeks, might do a few shorter ones before getting into this serious stuff.

I may join will text confirmation in the morning

Buck's picture

Sorry Loz, I'll still be in the city for drinks but won't be going too late Smiling
Paige reminded me that we had a BBQ to attend last night....doh

And Rob, even after 6 weeks off I still reckon you will be well in front of me! It won't be an overly racey pace. Still have to stop and chat and be a little social!

olaf's picture

Need to take the kids to sports Saturday monring.
Cheers

..no, my 8 year old is doing a Triathlon at Homebush Bay
100m swimming, 5km bike and 500m running, that's not bad for a 8 year old!!!

OK... if it doesn't rain (much) between now and tomorrow morning will come along.

It's not like I couldn't bail any time is it? Smiling

lozza6's picture

Your Quarry time is so gonna get beaten now! Sticking out tongue

Logistically, morning rides are tough for me to get to as I have no bike and no car where I live. lol

We'll see though, would love to add duck/centre backwards too at the end.

You single guys have way too much time (loz Sticking out tongue)

Even if I had the legs (which I don't) to do Duck and Centre Tracks again I wouldn't have to time to be riding 5-6 hours on a weekend!

Edit: For those that can't make the morning ride, give Tien a buzz and he is looking at doing a long arvo ride

leopafe's picture

I was thinking of showing up too, but I got a little confused by Buck’s last comment. Are you guys doing the long ride in the morning? What is the plan then?

Cheers,

Leo.

lozza6's picture

Its an 8:30am 50km ride.

I am still undecided....

Cheers,
Loz

lozza6's picture

I must have been pretty gone.. I genuinely actually do not remember posting that message!

oh well, come 20kms I'm gonna regret it I bet.... esp with my brakes "on" as I've just changed the pads, lol

Loz

Oh, actually, this was more vertical and only 500m shorter than to 50Km Dirtworks.

Laughing out loud

This ride was awesome. Today was the first time I have ridden this distance on tracks before. Besides a slight head ache all seems ok so far. It will be interesting to see how I pull up tomorrow morning.

I should add, I might not be sore but I am phyisically exhausted.

lozza6's picture

So we're set for the dirtworks then Smiling

Just need to eliminate all those damn stops! Shocked

Man I am buggered! Stiff all over! Lets do it again next week! Laughing out loud

Loz

Andy Bloot's picture

My legs thank you.
I just need to remember that hills are my friends. But with friends like that...
Excellent ride tho - even bits of sniggle here and there

Buck's picture

Sure was a good ride

Shows once again that I have no endurance. Legs were all locked up from the moment we left the stop at the bottom of Waratah Track.

Will have to do a few more before Dirtworks for sure!
