New Pogo Stick
How pretty is this[1]?
You remember they 'split' the 135mm Jekyll into the 110mm Rush and 140mm Prophet? Now it appears they have 'split' the Prophet into the 130mm Rize (above) and 160mm Moto.
Nice scenary on ths preview too:

Bernd
but im guessing id need to do a bank job to buy one!!13.6kgs,6.4 travel carbon-im guessing 6grand up,whatya think rob?
Niiiice, when is it scheduled to be recalled.
Where are the rear brake rotors?? Oh, just that the rotors about about 2 inches. Well, Cannondale owners are used to that.
Hello, i am new around here.....
Just thought i would share some info on these new models. To see the US specs (what we should get here in aus) and prices for these bikes go to:
http://www.infinitecycles.com/moto-and-rize.html
and download the pdf. For a new Rize with a lefty (Rize 3) i think you will be looking at around AU 4500 to 5000, although i do not understand Cannondale Australia's pricing structure, so anything could happen. Only top two models will have carbon frames. Leftys will have internals by either SRAM (solo air) or Fox (RLC with coil).
The bits that look good on that are the tyres/wheels and the matching saddle, ignore them and it's a pretty standard rig from what I can see. And the Robbie the Robot agricultural shock boot just looks silly now, good for catching and storing crap I'm sure.
And don't get me started on the ridiculously overcomplicated Moto shock setup, looks like a marin, and that ain't a plus point ;-}.
youre right about the one with the marin linkage matt. not too keen on that one.
shock design.i kind of just looked at the shape and colour initially.why didnt they just stick with the single pivot?probably lighter than that clunky looking set up.
the rize has a 'horst link' type rear end which work a bit better under braking compared to the rush( sorry rob, dont want to pick on your "baby"). apparently, orange bikes have the same problem. look at the back end of the rush's and the orange bikes. very similar. id like to have a go of the rize though. wonder who will give into temptation first? matt, rob that bank!
That's no horst link.
It's a faux bar, the pivot is on the seat stay therefore it is really just a single pivot as the wheel is attached to the swing arm and can only travel in an specific arc. Every thing else just actuates the shock.
Not that it's a bad thing. While I'm more a fan off well done four bar designs such as the Horst link , Lawwill... My Vario is a faux bar and I love the way it rides.
That said The rize will ave all the disadvantages of a sinple pivot in responsiveness under braking and what not with all the weight disadvantages of a four bar
....Mardi Gra float.
You got it in one! I wouldn't ride it down Oxford st at any time.
John.
a poor mans yeti, check out the new asr carbon now thats sexy!!
well i think its an absolutley gorgeous bicycle ..does it come in penguin bone or cork? on a serious note the word is the 2009 lefty's are going to come out with the left side missing too, holding the wheel up purely by magnetic force, and mind control devices in the headset
Wow, a duel suspension road bike. Go Cannondale.
well it looks fast. Can I have one.....
