Details:

Its about a 30 km loop. Start on firetrails in Hornsby, then link up to Galston Rd and ride down into the gorge and up to Galston. Past shops up to Dural and Quarry Road. Then onto the firetrails that take you back down into the gorge and up the other side home.

That is an interesting loop. Would love to do that loop wit you sometime but already committed to something else on Sunday.

No worries, will let you know how it goes. Having second thoughts about the ride out of the gorge on tar, we might carry the bikes up a hill out of the bottom of the gorge of Galston Rd to link into some more firetrails. Would be great to ride with you sometime and link up with another local

Hi evan, we ended up walking up the great north walk out of the gorge (Galston Road), so carried the bikes for 15 minutes up stairs and a ladder. Tough little climb but links nicely into the Berowra Valley ride and it did cut the loop down to about 1.5 hours. - and avoids the risk getting wacked by a car while riding out on Galston Rd towards Galston
