Ok, so who now has a branch thru their leg?
So.... A Wednesday cascades night ride ended badly for someone that one of you knows out there... They ended up in the ED with a stick 2 inches into their leg! As you do... Anyone care to shed any more light on the situation, or know how mr sticky is recovering?
Otherwise I hope everyone's injuries will be healed in time for Xmas (there seems to be a few going around of late).
And before @hawkeye says it... We will need photos...

Ouch!
Have to be pretty grisly to match Kingie's leg wound that he posted n Fb last month
I had heard about Kingy and Dr Bloot but haven't seen it as I an not on FB.
Most of those on the ride don't post hereabouts very often, so this is relayed detail.
Happened near some felled trees on S'nives sniggle. Apparently Ian had said, mere seconds before the accident, that he was there to provide the entertainment.
Stick in leg, penetrating muscle.
Procedure to remove stick and debris, and to stitch bits, that should be together and weren't, back together.
2 nights in hospital.
He's doing well and will heal.
Thanks for the update. I found out about it from another person in the ED, whom would agree, he was quite the entertainer!
So were you just catching up with old friends in the ED Flash or are you bleeding too?
Nah, I've been well behaved of late and kept things rubber side down. But seen plenty of mates now forced to take a few weeks off...
Hmmm... chitchat and sniggle ... not a great combo. One thing at a time in that environment, at least for my limited capacity brain.
I hope everybody recovers well. At least the ED knows what they're doing with suturing and infection control, unlike a certain northern beaches medical clinic that will remain nameless!
