I've got one, but I don't use it anymore.
You don't see any handlebars etc when you ride, so you could be jumping, pumping, manualling and flicking the bike all over the place and the video just looks like ur floating along.

Works good use it for different perspective shots mount camera front for film and photos were I'm looking plus put it on backwards to film the riders behind.

i agree with mr mez..,. it looks like a zip wire going through the bush.. pretty boring.
look into a seat mount, either front or rear. gives good perspective, thats if you want something different from the chest mount.
a crap load of elec tape and sponge works well too! Smiling

Chest mounts give a good view.

I have the chest mount its ok just can't seem to get the footage I want also lots of vibration

Chest mount needs to be cinched up pretty firmly to stop camwra shake but gives an excellent perspective for mountain biking.

The OEM GoPro plastic bar and seat mounts have a nasty habit of snapping so I don't use them. Best option is the K-Edge mounts for bars and saddle rails.

Rock steady and zero camera shake but you do vet a lot of frame noise.

Best helmet mount choice is the Kali Amara helmet with integrated helmet mount. I have one of these and get good results especially as a commuter cam.

For off road the mass up high is a bit if a pain on rough trails like some of the Manly Dam descents. The weight up high tends to make the helmet flop about obscuring your vision unless it is done up super tight

Has anyone ever tried these headset top cap mounts for a GoPro from Deal Extreme?

Works great as a head mount, as for the chest mount you will want the camera upside down with the j buckle that comes with the chesty, and three fingers between the goproand the mount so you arent looking down at your frame when you lean forwards

handlebar and seatpost views arent too great.
