Yes - the weather is looking good for Sunday AM. We have nearly 2000 riders registered - but there is still time to register on the day.

See you at the start!

Didn't participate due to doubts about my knee lasting the distance, but on the 50km I did today it was great to see so many smiley faces. Smiling

with the exception of the poor bloke (?) that caused the traffic jam on Mona Vale Rd. Hope all is well.

We had 2007 riders in the Bobbin Head Cycle Classic today - with over 1300 do the 80/104 km routes. Many thanks to all the riders for their support of this Rotary event and the great charities it supports. Great support from 200 marshals, 3 sweep vehicles, SES, St Johns, Ambos, Police, RMS!

Three of the four ambulance evacuations are already discharged I believe (including the one from Mona Vale Rd - caused by bloody P plate car parked during night protruding into the cycle lane. Eastbound, between St Ives Showground and Frenchs Forest Rd).

Remaining rider in RNSH overnight for further observation. Multiple ribs, collar bone etc from fall on descent into Bobbin Head. We all wish him a speedy recovery.

See you next year!
