Details:

After another great day of trail building I thought it would be good to get more people along. There were approximately 15-20 people at the build day today and we managed to cut in almost 1 km of new singletrack. Obviously the more, the merrier.

The trail days are generally the second Saturday of each month but this might change depending on various factors.

You will need to complete an indemnity waiver (you chop your head off with a rake, it's your own fault type thing).

As the new area that has been cut in (over 10km now), is ok to ride, the best thing to do is come along, lend a hand then ride the hard work that you've put in. Of course I could try to explain where to ride, but that would be too difficult and I don't want people getting lost in the bush for weeks on end!

Hi Guys,

Just a reminder that this is on Saturday.

I rode there on Sunday with two of the guys in charge of the build and there is some great work lined up for good technical riding. If we can get more people to attend, there will be more work covered off. Plus the area being worked on requires you to ride there so you will get the chance to ride before and after the building!!

Cheers

Matt

Over 20 people attended today which is a fantastic number. We were able to cut in a few hundred meters of new single track, build a step down with a B line and also put in a step to help with retention of the surface.

A enormous amount of work went in and even though the section is not fully complete, it is rideable and just needs more traffic to help it bed in.

I don't know if any NOBMOBers made it down but if you did, thanks for the great effort.

There are photos on the Menai MTB Park proposal page on Facebook.
