I went a few years ago and had a ball - sussing out the new 29er's. Got to spend a few hours riding with a champ rider Jared Rando who gave me much needed tips and a race or two Then hit the roads on the top of the range road bikes.
Prob suited best if you're in the market and not sure about the bike great way to suss it out prior to purchase - worked for me bought a 29er next week but the road bike left me cold so saved me from a mistake
