I got butterflies just reading this!
Good luck.
I'm kind of envious but kind of not?
Race smart and enjoy!
Look forward to hearing the reports.
Good luck!
Like Gazza I'm jealous you guys are on a true mountain bikers bucket list trip but when I looked at all the vineyards you ride through realised it would be a pointless trip for me to make as I'd find the cellar doors irresistible and they'd probably be sending the sweep vehicle out to get me each day...
That first stage looks like it will take plenty of prisoners. Best of luck boys.
.. and safe journey...
Looking forward to the reports boys - but I'll understand if you're too tired/hungry/excited to submit each day! Go hard!

13th of 182 in category for the prologue! Great result. Keep it up boys.

Good luck & enjoy guys. Your great blog has got me sucked into to following your progress!
I've been keeping a bit of an eye out, and this is some (very) recent footage of todays stage - they are still racing.
Now, I might be wrong, but I reckon, in the first second or two - there are two SXC style kits right there, one white, one blue helmet, in the queue...

Good luck to you both.
I'll also be following your progress and willing you to a good result.
I agree with you. It's really happening!
Go the beaches boys! Do us all proud!
Good Luck boys.
