Looking for a good quality carbon seat post as I want to up grade from my standard alloy one
Problem I have is quite often my seat will move from being flat to nose up after a hard ride no matter how tight I do the cap head bolts up that hold it
So thought I may as well go carbon when bying a new one the bike is a Scott scale it's my race bike

... I've had good results with them. They don't move if you do the bolt up to the recommended torque.
I'd recommend some carbon paste as well, stops your post from slipping down.
What diameter and setback are you after?
Carbon parts are a slippery slope. You'll quickly end up buying a torque wrench, and then, before you know it, a full carbon bike!
Well it's a scale 920 so already carbon frame the seat post is the standard syncros one that came with the bike 35mm diameter it's not the post that moves
It's we're the seat is held in I'm well past the 16nm that's recommended to keep it tight and most of the time it stays there
But if you do a couple of big jumps or hit step ups or somewhere as you are seated then it can move
Had a very light of today at turner hill got back on no worries but once again the seat had moved
I sent you a PM - high end Scott bikes used to come with Ritchey WCS Carbon posts. I'm about to split a Genius RC10 and will be letting mine go - right diameter for your a Scale, and a very nice post. Never had any issues with the seat moving on the post. As has already been said, a bit of carbon paste between the frame and post is a good idea.

Hmmm. I've been reading about some issues with EC70 setback posts with the alloy head coming unglued from the top of the post.
Mine is zero setback and one piece full carbon.
