Melrose Fat Tyre Festival

Melrose Fat Tyre festival should be on everyone's bucket list!

It's on a gain this year for 4 days over the June long weekend (starting Friday).

I'm heading up from Adelaide on the Friday, so thought I'd see if anyone of the 'Mob' is coming over and would like some company (from an old NobMobber). I'll be camping there, and enjoying the big bonfires at night.

Just $60 for a weekend of exploring the many trails, with all sorts of events on offer. There's usually some 'local's only' epic rides around the mountain and out to Bartagunyah. It's a chilled out event that's about having fun rather than racing. (But the competitive spirit does emerge occasionally)!

Every June Long weekend mountain bike riders from around Australia come to Melrose for the Fat Tyre Festival – some making this event their “must do ” every year!

Riders love the chilled out vibe and non competitive nature of the event. They come to improve their skills, ride trails they wouldn’t normally be allowed to ride on outside festival times, meet new friends and enjoy all the entertainment through out the day and night!
