The original scope of works was to fix up the entire length of the single track. Unfortunately deadlines and funding forced focus to be on the last 1.6km of track only.
NPWS Blue Mountains management have been very impressed with the constructed works before it even opened. After opening the feedback has really made heads turn and the possibility of more works has been put back on the table. User feedback is currently the biggest weapon to get more trails.
National Parks have set up an email for anyone wishing to provide feedback on the new Single track and in general relation to mountain biking in the Blue Mountains National park. They want honest feedback. Love it, hate it, tell them what you want them to hear. Even a simple thanks for the trail goes a long way.
