Hi all

I've recently got back on the bike after recovering from a ruptured ACL and have been riding to work through glenrock twice a week to get the strength and fitness back. Its hard to find the motivation to ride by myself so I thought I'd put it out there to see if anyone is keen to join me.

I live in Kahibah and work in Hamilton so i enter the trails of the Fernleigh and ride along the top of the g-rock trails (Kenny's etc)and finish up at the pumpworks rd (head down the hill into town). I then complete the g-rock loop on the way home (under lights at the moment)and come out on the Fernleigh along grasstree. I would do an extended loop on the way home once the fitness improves.

It's a great way to start the day (provided you have a shower at work) and also end it. It would be great to be able to do this with a regular group if there's anyone living and working in the same areas.

Please PM if you're keen.

(I leave home around 8am and finish work around 5pm)

I commute through there too when I can, from Dudley to Nobbys and back, but my hours are sporadic at best so won't even try to join a regular group. Nice to be able to get a full loop in while commuting, but geez it's dark on the way home! Thank goodness for 2 sets of Ayups! Smiling

I've commuted to work a few times via glenrock. Starting Warners bay, finishing Boolaroo. It's a bit of a detour, but well worth it!

Hi there, I travel from Whitebridge to Lambton most days and have not ventured off the Fernleigh at all. But with daylight savings and some warmer weather the trails off on the sides are looking enticing.

Are you still riding through the trails? I'd join you on a ride suitable for a beginner like myself.

Cheers.
