i spent more time on Saturday off my bike than on it!!!
Most were "un clipping" fall overs - i had teh leg strength to climb up teh hills but got tripped up by the rocks and wheel spinning - more bike skills needed!!
As for the "drop off" - well that is next years challenge - though even the B line was "brown pants" material - there was no way i was riding down that clay gully - i could barely walk down it.
Though i did go down the big rocks that were abotu half way around teh lap - thats my claim to fame!!

As a crash testing team member for various helmet manufacturers I would suggest a new helmet is desirable. If you don't want a new one I have a selection of pre-owned, used once, only on Sundays, helmets with a few 'modifications' to them
Our MTB helmets are relatively primitive and once the crushability of a section has been 'used', it transmits the force of any further impact to the skull and brain more than an unused (crushed) one.
LOL whats a helment?
Dont risk it, get a new one.
The next hit it might just do nothing for you.
Old helmet, you ate dirt, never a better time to upgrade.
