Specialized 'Test the Best' seems to off for a few months
I remember seeing a Trek test day at Manly Dam. But can find anything online.
What about other brands or shops?
Love to try a Scott or Canondale.

Offer test bikes to take for a spin. Most likely they'll charge you a hire cost that is refunded if you proceed with a purchase.
At City Bike Depot. Cannondale has changed distribution in Australia recently as a dysfunctional CSG managed to halve sales of the brand in the last couple of years.
Hugh will be well informed on what is happening with test ride days.
