Details:

Wild 60 is a 60km ride (must be 16yo +)

Wild 30 is a 30km ride (must be 12yo+)

Wild 15 …..you guessed it, is a 15km ride (must be 10yo +) - designed for non-serious riders, novices and family groups.

Note on Ages: We have set the ages to reflect the standard of ability to safely participate in the event. If your child is experienced then we can give special consideration. Please contact us on [email protected] to seek permission to enter children under the age category. Please note a small amount of traffic will be present on some sections of the course.

Start Times

Wild 60 starts 8.30am

Wild 30 starts 9.15am

Wild 15 starts 9.30am

FIT ROCK Acoustic concert starts 11am (can you Rock, if so we have a stage, PA and some musos to help).

Where

Race compound will be in the grounds of the Wollombi Tavern off Great North Road, Wollombi, Hunter Valley, NSW. About 20min from Cessnock and about 90min from Sydney.

I did this race a couple of years ago. It's all firetrail and gravel roads, no singletrack, but a great location and excellent atmosphere.

looks like a good bit of fun round the corner from free accommodation. Bit worried about the first climb though - any tips/thoughts?

Yes, it should spread the field out a bit. It's pretty steep from memory, with one rough pinch that most people walk.
