Sample Skills Covered in the 4 hours
*Helmet check and fit

*Bike safety inspection

*Learning to pump

*Line selection

*Berms and flat turns

*Track stands

*Technical ascending

*Technical descending

*Manuals and wheelies

*Introduction to jumping

*Bunny hops and mono hops

*Mastering skinnies

*Roll downs and drop offs

* Trail ride

This skills clinic is open to any person 16 years and over. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.

All participants require a fully functioning mountain bike with knobby tyres (not slicks) and front suspension, as well as a Australian Standards approved helmet. Gloves and sunglasses are also highly recommended.

The skills clinic will go from 9am-1pm. Please arrive at 8.45am.

Please ensure that you bring water, your lunch and sunscreen.

In the event of inclement weather, the alternate date for the skills clinic is Saturday July 25. Please note that if you cannot attend the alternate date you will not be able to make up the course at another time.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A WAIVER
