Ourimbah Ride
Hello all,
My hubbie and I are talking about heading up to Ourimbah State Forest to do some riding over the weekend. Does anyone know what the condition of the trails might be with all of the rain we have been getting lately? Also, if anyone in interested in joining us, that would be great. We are flexible about either riding Sat. or Sun. and the weather looks good for both days as far as I can tell. Cheers!

With most of us at the Dirtworks this weekend you may get a poor showing.
As for the rain, Ourimbah dries fairly well except for the section called the grave yard as that is very boggy so stay clear of that area.Just don't take the left hand turn at the "Grave Yard" sign
As Ourimbah is in a valley that leads back to the car park, all trails pretty well lead back that way so if you get lost follow the low ground.

the day after it stopped raining
down hill course was wet as but still fast
water was flowing in a lot of sectionss but by now it will all be dried up
hopefully the leeches will be gone too hahahahaha
you cant really get lost in there just head down
