Sutherland short course mtb racing

Does anyone know much about the Sutherland short course mtb races?

I've been on their website but the calendar appears to empty.

I'm keen to give it a go in the near future but can't seem to find any dates they race on.

In case anyone's interested, I sent Sutherland Cycling Club a message and here's their reply:-

We race on the 1st Wednesday of every month during summer. Next race will be Wednesday the 5th. Juniors from 5.20pm C Grade around 6.15pm

I'm going to give it a crack, does anyone have any tips?
