Loving Bantry Bay Trails

Just want to put it out there that I'm loving the new Bantry Bay trails.

Over the weekend I did 45K's through Bantry Bay & Manly Dam. The Bantry Bay trails are most certainly not firetrail which in my mind is a very good thing. I consider my self a reasonable technical rider and find the new trails, particularly Gahnia, to be challenging, again a very good thing.

The trails will bed in and we'll all get used to the lines over time. I know I will become fitter and a more proficient rider simply by adding this trails into the mix every couple fo weeks,

So to all those who helped get the trails in place, to the trail builders, and to the trail fairies who have built link trails THANKYOU and well done!

Hope to see you out on the trails!

We have some nice variety now. Before it was multiple laps of the Dam, now I haven't ridden a full loop in months. Starting in Nth Balgowlah, I do the top of the Dam, Golf Course single track, etc then head over the Parkway, down to Serrata via the Austrian Enduro and then back up via Kanye to Gahnia and back home again using the track that goes to Seaforth Oval.

I've just been doing this new "Serrahnia" loop now and it's becoming better and better the more I get to know it. Then there's the outer loop, Possum, etc and the rest of the Dam that can be thrown into the mix.

Massive thanks to all involved in getting these up and running.
