Thanks all at MWMTB for the great day out. Really enjoyed the racing today. I uploaded the photos I took to our website (over 100). Link is at www.rockytrailentertainment.com
See you next time!
Thanks trailburner for all the great pics you posted of the event so quickly.
The MoB had a very impressive day at the well organised MWMTB/WSMTB XC short course race yesterday with mtbasn.alex winning a very tough B grade race. Also Supagavs girlfriend Vanina was over from NZ and she rides at close to Gavs speed (yes really) and she won A grade womens race by lapping the competition! Gav missed out on the podium but had a good race in B grade, I also did well with a 3rd place in C grade. Alchemist I think took 3rd in single speed. I had an absolute hoot of a time racing this track despite being fairly short it packs an awful lot in with wide berms, single track, table tops, a nice tight semi technical descent and a pinch climb, passing is also easy with plenty of wide areas, the only thing it doesn't have is a decent spot to get your breath back, the track really makes you work hard.
John.
