2016 seems to have a new thing in the 27.5+ category, what is your opinion the future or just another fad .....

from what i understand its a 27.5 semi fat bike. so 27.5 wheels running wider rims, wider clearance chainstays and dropouts so they can run 3" tyres.

I guess now 27.5 dosent mean 27.5" tyres rather 27.5 bmi Laughing out loud

Why didn't they just make "26+" in the first instance and be done with it? At least then all the existing frames could be used and only slightly modified...

I also think that there is a reason that all the pro downhill riders use 2.4-2.5" tyres
