Im getting a sucking noise from my rear shock and wondering if I just need to change the seals on them and if so how easy is it to change as Youtube make it look easy.
Shock is a Fox Float CDT Adjust Kashima.
Not good news for you mate. Sucking noise, most probably, means air in the damper, which can only be serviced by a Fox service centre or other specialised suspension shop as it requires special tools and a nitrogen charge, costing a fair bit of money (around $200).

my shock was stuck down as well,
i had my shock redone by EMR in perth
New seal/ nitro recharge/nylon shock bushings for around the $200 mark
was money well spent, u can also request damping changes if your a heavyweight/lightweight rider
its a service u need to do around once a year or every second year anyway
just because its not a car, doesnt mean its not due a service

Got the seals changed by Fox and also repaired all the switchgear and as good as new. Was also told how to set this up properly which was great advise to which I wish I got when I bought my bike. Going by my last mishap with the LBS I bought my bike from to the guys that helped me out, I now have faith in a certain store but also the sales guy in particular who really helped me out.
Considering its a Giant store they were more than helpful to get the best for me and not looking to get the most money out of me.
Very happy customer
