Canberra places to stay?

Can anyone recommend good places to stay for a couple of nights in Canberra? Me and 3 or 4 mates are heading down in mid Sept. Riding the usual trails – Stromlo, Majura and Kowen. Looking for mtb friendly place: secure bike storage or bike allowed in room; bike wash space 'd be a bonus; affordable.
Thanks in advance.

"Based on their close location close to Stromlo, we recommend Abode in Woden or Tuggeranong - they offer stylish, comfortable and convenient, apartment-style accommodation in Canberra. The Rocky Trail crew has stayed at both properties in recent years and we have always been overwhelmed by the friendly service and convenient facilities - each studio or apartment has a kitchenette as well as laundry facilities for that sweaty bike gear after a long ride or race at Stromlo. It's the ideal location for a Rocky Trail race in Canberra. Here's how you can access the special rates:"

The food downstairs at Smoque is good as well. Stayed there a couple of times and enoyed it both times

I suggest Alivio Tourist Park which is next to the beautiful, flowy Bruce Ridge MTB trails. You can ride from your door to these trails in just a few minutes. Alivio has heaps of different accommodation options to suit and is close to Canberra CBD and shops.

Plus one for Alivio tourist park, used them a few times and the rooms have always been clean and well maintained. Usually have balconies to lock bikes up on.

Stayed there this weekend before the Rockytrail event. Quite cheap for a cabin that fit 5 persons with parking just outside the cabin. Good option for a mtb weekend away.
